I have never stepped away from an opportunity to challenge myself and I’m so proud to share this session with soon-to-be wed Chris and Tiffanie. When Tiffanie asked me to shoot a boudoir session with her, I said yes as I knew it would bring me out of my comfort zone and allow me to learn something, and when she asked if it’s possible to incorporate the love of her life in the session I thought about it for a while and then decided that this would be a wonderful opportunity to explore it artistically and push myself. I won’t lie I was nervous ahead of time and I fell in love immediately after we started shooting. There is something very warm and powerful about the session, the intimacy and the ability to be free with expression without outside prying eyes. These two are truly head over heels for each other and I really hope that I was able to give their feelings justice with my imagery. Thanks so much for giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait for your wedding next month!

The first really nice day of Summer here in Alberta and I couldn’t have been happier to share the afternoon with Susanna and Donny. We enjoyed a slurpy from 7/11 and wandered through the city, from the Norden VW to one of Susanna’s projects at the Whitemud park. Enjoy a few shots from our day and if you ever get a chance to head off the Whitemud to see the “shiny balls” I think you’ll actually be pleasantly surprised at how cool they are.

Another wonderful winter day here in sunny and snowy Edmonton. It’s become quite year for awards and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have two more of my images take home some accolades in the recent ISPWP competition. Michelle and Chris and Tim and Naomi’s images were a success in the international competition which brings some of the best wedding photographers from around the world to present their work. What’s just as impressive is that Edmonton, our home, faired so well again. My good friends Kelly Redinger and the Shandro’s also won and it makes me very proud to see our city and the talent we have here internationally recognized. We’re working very hard here in the mighty north and it really shows.
