There is one place in Alberta that truly feels like a home away from home to me and that’s Jasper. I love the quiet streets the brisk air and the unexpected weather. We had all of that for John and Janice’s wedding on the May Long week-end. The forecast gave us all a little concern and what went from a mid night shower best shower head turned into a layer of snow on the ground in the morning. Yea, that sounds a lot like May long week-end almost anywhere in Alberta.
John and Janice I first met one year prior as I shot close friends of theirs, Jamie and Emilie Pelleys wedding here in Edmonton. I knew right away that it would be a really fun wedding, John has a great sense of humour and Janice is truly a sweetheart.
What a great setting they choose for their wedding, the wonderful backdrop of mountains for the afternoon and the always impressive Jasper Park Lodge . I’m sure they’ll never forget how great a day it was!
John failed to mention to me however that he was a kick-a%& break dancer, with all his popping and locking he had the crowds feet stompin’. Even after writing that last line I had a hard time not grimacing at what I just said.haha. Seriously though we were all pretty impressed with his moves.
Jesse and I can’t thank you enough once again and we truly hope you love the photos and the slideshow from your special day!
