This is an incredible family we spent some time with here in Northern Peru. I’ll follow up with a detailed story when I have more time to spend on the rest of the photos, but for the time being please enjoy a taste of life on the river. We are here during the tail end of the rainy season and you can clearly see here that the river level is right at their doorstep. The river recedes and drops as much as 25 feet near some homes, so coming here during the high water season really is a different world than the dry season.
