Junnie contacted me early this year about her upcoming wedding in the amazing Scottish Highlands. Zach and Junnie live in Chicago and dreamt of a fairy tale wedding in a castle in Europe and they truly could not have picked a more incredible location, Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland. Set in the amazing Isle of Skye you can see by the photos below that it really was a wedding out of a story book and one of the worlds most beautiful places.
On this weeding I teamed up once again with talented and award winning photographer Kelly Redinger. I like to think of Kelly and I as the X-Men of Wedding photography, I like to scale cliffs, love the wide open shots and seem more like the Wolverine where as Kelly is the Professor Charles Xavier character, charm and brains and drawn to the intimate and emotive type of imagery. Combined we bring a very diverse skill set to a wedding and with Zach and Junnie we did the very best we could to bring those two styles together for a wedding album they’ll never forget.
Working alongside Lucy Swanson of Premier Wedding Planners in the UK and hosted by David at their reception venue the Duisdale Country House we were in very good hands.
