I beyond excited to share the news that I had two images since April 22nd recognized on National Geographic online in their editors picks and daily dozen. Each week-day the editors of National Geographic select 12 images worldwide for their image of the day and these were my images that were included with so many other great images.
What I think I’m most excited and proud of is that two very distinct and different images were noticed from my submissions. When I started out in photography I was simply traveling with a camera in my bag while wandering the world and over time I began working with portrait, some commercial and then into wedding work. I’m pleased to see that the work has evolved and that there is this happy blend between the two where my travel and my wedding work have consistency and both reflect the people involved and the environment around them. It makes me happy to see that.
Thanks so much to al of my couples that offer me such great opportunity and to Heather and Alejandro pictured here for allowing me to share in their wedding story.
Thanks so much to the editors and curators of National Geographic online and “Your Shot” for publishing these images.
