I’ve only been back one week but it already feels like forever since being in Europe for Rebecca and Adam’s reception. Shooting alongside Kelly Redinger we found ourselves across the pond for this fantastic event and day after session in the amazing English countryside. This was a very special event as Rebecca’s family is from the area and city of Lincoln and so many of the places we visited while there had such significance to her and her parents. The town itself could not have been more picturesque and although I knew very little about it before I went it is truly a place in Europe that needs to be seen with it’s medieval castle , world famous Cathedral and the old town center that could rival any european town I’ve visited in the past.
We will have so many more images from this recent trip and their local Edmonton Wedding later this summer. Until then we couldn’t wait to share a few teasers from last week. Thanks so very much again to Rebecca and Adam and of course their families who could not have been better hosts and made us, and our wives, feel like we were part of the family. It was a pleasure to spend time with all of you. Enjoy and thanks again,
Carey
note: the last two shots have very special meaning to the family. Rebecca’s dad managed this pub for many years in the heart of the old town and we thought it would be a great chance to cool off with a beer there.lol The last picture was where her parents became engaged in front of Lord Tennyson. It’s a real honour to have the ability to tie special moments and generations together with something like this.
