When it comes to picture-perfect summer weddings, there are few locations in the world that rival the breathtaking beauty of Banff. Late June provided the ideal setting for this wedding at the legendary Banff Springs Hotel. Surrounded by towering peaks and lush green valleys, Nicole and Grant had a celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
The couple’s ceremony took place at the picturesque St. Mary’s Parish which is nestled in the heart of Banff. As they exchanged vows in front of family and friends, the church was filled with an undeniable sense of joy and anticipation and many smile. The traditional church setting created a timeless atmosphere, and the couple radiated happiness as they officially began their journey together. I truly love that first moment when they took their first steps outside of the doors as newlyweds.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the magnificent Cascade Ballroom at the Banff Springs Hotel while we enjoyed some time for portrait through Banff. One of the most delightful moments came when these two shared a playful moment, enjoying delicious ice cream cones while strolling down Banff Avenue. Nicole proposed the idea for the quick stop as a treat which turned into a fantastic photo memory :).
The ballroom’s grandeur, combined with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, set the stage for a truly magical evening. Guests dined, danced, and celebrated late into the night, basking in the warm glow of the summer sun that lingered well into the evening.
But the fun didn’t stop there! The next day I took the couple on a scenic tour of Banff for an Adventure Session, capturing some more fun and romantic wedding portraits. From the historic hotel to the perfect lakes we explored the bow valley and its iconic spots.
This summer wedding in Banff was a perfect blend of elegance, natural beauty, and lighthearted fun, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.
A massive thank you to the amazing team of Artists that helped make their day so memorable:
