El Convento Santa Clara Wedding
Connor and Diane traveled from San Francisco California to have their beautiful wedding in Guatemala. Having spent much of her life visiting family in Guatemala, Diane was able to share a once in a lifetime experience with so many of her friends that had never been to Antigua before. A country filled with such a colourful and amazing culture and the landscape is filled with lakes and volcanoes, it’s incredibly beautiful.
With many family and friends in attendance they had their ceremony at the most remarkable venue. The Convento Santa Clara was founded in 1699 and after an earthquake was eventually abandoned however it made for one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. My wife and I had travelled to Guatemala in 2007 just before getting married and it was just as beautiful today as it was from our memories back then.
Please sit back and enjoy the week and I would highly recommend vistiing this remarkable part of the world. Conner and Diane stayed at the El Convento Boutique Hotel in the heart of the city and I must say it was incredible!
A massive thank you to Thelma from Sparks Destination Weddings for helping to create a truly magical wedding day and the video team at Arocapro for capturing all the movements with us.
