Derek and Mallory gave Jesse and I a real treat for their wedding. I’m a big baseball fan and for their wedding we were so very fortunate enough to have some of our formal shots taken at Telus Field, former home of the Trappers and present home of the Capitals. These two along with their friends and family are huge sports fans and it was so cool to have the two of them take off there dress shoes and lace up the cleats and run a few bases.
Spending the day with Derek and Mallory we could really see how much in love they really are. They are very humble and modest people that really love to smile and share a laugh, and it’s always very flattering to be asked to be a part of such an occasion.
We had a fantastic day going from the ceremony and ending the night at what is my mind one of Edmonton’s best reception venues, the Northlands Agricom. Jamie from River City Rentals really helped put together a spectacular reception and the hall itself was truly a photographers dream. I do hope I get to shoot there again. I can’t thank you two enough for such a wonderful and fun wedding day.
