There is very few things as spectacular as a wedding in or in view of our Rocky Mountains. Sean and Angela were married in Cochrane at the spectacular Cochrane Ranche House with close family and friends facing our natural wonder. I have known Sean and his brother Bruce for most of my life. We both grew up in Fort McMurray and played many sports together over the years we lived there so it was really great to be a part of this wedding.
Sean, Angela and I met up earlier this year and had an incredible shoot which you can view here, it was a great session and a fantastic day in Banff and Canmore. I’m still getting to know Angela but I can tell that these two have many years of fun and laughs ahead. Angela has a great personality and Sean is one of those guys that really makes you feel welcome, and your wedding was really a great day. I still want you guys to remember that I shot the wedding on a broken ankle, not a sprain, not a sore ankle, an actual broken ankle, the kind that get’s surgery!haha So you two know how much it meant for me to be there and make your wedding photos ones you’ll never forget.
I’d also like to thank the Rockyview Hotel and the staff for letting us shoot in their funky saloon. It’s truly one the most authentic hotels in Canada and so worth a trip to cochrane, after the Mackays ice cream shop of course. And of course I want to thank the guys in the bar that volunteered their rides for a few minutes. It was awfully nice to let us sit on the Harley’s for a few shots. And last but not least, special shout out (that what they say in the biz) to Kevin Oliver aka DJ Nitro for throwing down some tasty licks.(do they say that in the biz?)
