Chloe and Mike came up from Calgary for their engagement session. Chloe is my cousin and she’s very special to me. Her family is like my second family and I’ve been really lucky to watch her grow up and now get married in the new year. She couldn’t have picked a better guy than Mike. He’s got a great sense of humour and really makes Chloe happy, which makes all of us happy too.
For our session I called up Phyllis Sinclair, the folk singer whom I was so lucky to meet and shoot a few months ago and she was so very kind and allowed us to use her families magnificent homestead. It was really amazing to see how Phyllis had decorated and polished this old gem. You can see how much fun it was to shoot in and around the farm.
I hope everyone enjoys the small sample of photos from the afternoon and I can’t thank Chloe and Mike enough for making the trip up. We’ll see you two this winter at the wedding!
