I’d love to share with everyone a few images from Jennifer and Rob’s Emerald Lake wedding and Helicopter adventure session. Jenn and Rob are truly adventurous people and love spending their free time on a mountain bike or hiking around the world and people that I feel very connected with. They had a beautiful and intimate wedding with a few of their closest friends and family at the Emerald Lake Lodge.
After the wedding we spent the next day on the road shooting an adventure session (day after / trash the dress) along the Canadian Rockies and then wrapped up the day flying to 8000 feet with Ralph and Rockies Heli Tours. These day after sessions are truly one of my favourite things to do. Not only did Jennifer and Rob love the fact that they could spend more time with their friends and family on the wedding day, we also get a whole afternoon to ourselves, and explore new places which we could not have gotten to on the wedding day. Also it’s great fun to go hiking any time!
A huge thank you goes out to Jenna Anderson from Canmore and Banff Make-up Artistry and of course the whole staff at the Lodge where it’s truly one of Canada’s prettiest locations.
And to you Jenn and Robb! You are amazing people and I truly felt like I was family for the three days I was with you. Thanks for trusting me to do what I do best and a massive high five for letting me hang out of a helicopter, it was awesome!
