About the destination
The Hinterland of Queensland in Australia it’s truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever travelled to.
Overlooking the sea on a very warm spring day Fiona and Steve hosted an elegant wedding with close family and friends, who had travelled from around the world.
Fiona is originally from Australia and spent most of her life in this area before meeting Steve, who is from Canada, they met while he was working in Queensland.
My experience while in Australia
My wife Colleen and took a couple of days before the wedding to rent a campervan and tour the coastline, it was just perfect!
We saw kangaroos near Coffs Harbour, watched the surfers at Bryon Bay, we enjoyed paddle boarding every morning in Noosa, went swimming in waterfalls near Montville and we bbq every night at sunset. A truly remarkable experience.
Travelling along the coast from Sydney to Brisbane, we had no idea what to expect when we made the drive inland to Flaxton Gardens and the “Range”. With the rolling hills and lush forest it was like entering a new part of the country and high atop you have the most spectacular view of the Glass House Mountains and the coast.
I cannot thank Fiona and Steve enough for making me a part of their Australia wedding and I hope these few images give you a great feel for what it was like to be a part of this beautiful Queensland wedding.
It’s always so very exciting to bring my vision to a special place in a new country.
