I just returned home from an incredible and magical session at Emerald Lake Lodge in Field, BC. Heather and Alejandro contacted me early this year and asked if I was available to shoot their wedding in Canmore this September and at the time I was already booked. I suggested to them, if they were game, that I’d be extremely excited to come a day or two after and meet them in the mountains for a “day after” or Trash the dress” session. They took no time and said yes to the idea. Heather and Alejandro live in California and wanted their wedding to have that magical Rocky Mountain feel. We both came up with Emerald Lake Lodge which if you haven’t been there is one of the worlds most special locations as you can see by the few teasers I have below. The lodge is set in the mountains in Yoho and off a glacier and is jaw dropping beautiful and serene. I promise to tell you more about or rainy and then sunny afternoon later this fall but until then please enjoy a few moments we shared.
